American Medical Software is a per user software. When purchased the office gets 90 days of Toll free internet scheduled training. Any additional training outside of the scheduled training can be answered through AMS technical support. Onsite training can also be purchased at an extra fee.
The appointment scheduler can be purchased as a stand alone module or integrated with the rest of the medical billing software. The appointment Scheduler is color coded, customizable and easy to use. With the option of up to 99 appointment columns and easy to setup block and find future appointment times it’s a great fit for any medical practice.
Charges can be indicated by the provider while completing a progress note. Within a few short steps the charge can be created and posted to the software. Payments can also be easily posted to open line items when received. American Medical Software supports UB92 and UB04 for Rural health along with CMS 1500 forms.
The doctors can also choose to use a handheld pocket PC which allows the doctor to be at a hospital, nursing home or even in their own office. The doctor is now free to create a new patient, post a charge, create a progress report, write a script or set a reminder. The doctor will re-synchronize the handheld back in the office and it will update the American Medical Software.
American Medical Appointment Confirmation Software
American Medical Software is interfaced with Televox software. Televox is a Medical Appointment Confirmation software. They will take the appointment information from your American Medical Software and call your patients to confirm scheduled appointments or leave messages on behalf of your practice. This service can increase cash flow for medical practices by having fewer no show patients and saving the front office time from having to complete these calls.
