CollaborateMD's web-based medical billing software has many benefits including low setup fees and then per provider/inquiry pricing structure. Although it can be harder to guess your monthly fees CollaborateMD's per provider and inquiry fees still allow you to save money monthly based on some of the other web-based monthly inclusive flat fee programs.
CollaborateMD and Insurance Medical Billing
CollaborateMD software is fully integrated with RelayHealth clearinghouse which is known for it's superior support and services. CollaborateMD has simplified the office setup by doing the following:
- Defaulted the insurance carriers list in their software
- Defaulted RelayHealth's electronic CPID# to all insurance carriers so the office will not have to
- Tied all EDI Agreements to the insurance carriers that require them
- Added an alert system to notify users when a EDI agreement is required to send electronic claims to the insurance carrier
- Office staff can complete the EDI Agreement at the insurance carrier level immediately
For those who have never had to work with a clearinghouse this saves the office time from having to learn the clearinghouses website, identify CPID#'s and fill out EDI Agreements online at a different site. It truly can save the office 10+ hours in the initial setup phase of the database.
CollaborateMD brings the RelayHealth reports back into your office key and tags your claims as accepted and denied. All denials can be worked immediately from this screen as it pulls up the claim, allows you to fix and rebill the claim to the insurance carrier.
All claims can be viewed at any time to identify the status of the EDI reports. You can also see all EDI history tied to the visit.
CollaborateMD's Support Services
CollaborateMD's web-based medical billing software has an integrated support system. All cases can be logged while in your CollaborateMD medical software and you can view all open cases and CollaborateMD works with you until the case is resolved. The Administrator of the office key can view all cases and identify the user that logged the support case.
CollaborateMD also has telephone and email support options.
CollaborateMD offers free online anytime training videos on most areas of the software. All clients will have access to a user manual in PDF form and a knowledge base system is coming soon.
